Bausch + Lomb recently launched the Incise Microincision IOL in Europe. According to company literature, the Incise IOL’s advanced aspheric optic is designed to improve visual quality. The combination of this acrylic IOL with the Stellaris Vision Enhancement System’s improved capabilities and the singleuse Incise Viscoject Bioinjector enables 1.8-mm in-the-bag and 1.4-mm woundassisted implantation. The Incise IOL is designed to minimize posterior capsular opacification with its 360º square-edge design and radius of curvature of 5 μm.
