Pfizer, BioNTech Seek FDA Greenlight for Comirnaty in Young Children
Pfizer and BioNTech on Thursday said they have filed an application seeking the FDA's authorization to allow children ages five to 11 years old to be immunized with their COVID-19 vaccine Comirnaty, according to a FirstWord report. The vaccine could be ready for rollout in this group as early as November pending approval from federal regulatory health agencies, according to White House COVID-19 response coordinator Jeffrey Zients.
