EDITORIAL POLICIES

All articles submitted to CRST Global are subject to review by the editorial team. Submissions may also be shared with the Chief Medical Editors, members of the Editorial Advisory Board, or other reviewers as necessary to ensure the highest editorial standards. The editorial team reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit any submission. Articles must be original and unpublished, and authors are responsible for ensuring that their work does not infringe upon the personal or intellectual property rights of others.

FORMAT

Manuscripts for CRST Global can be submitted directly to Michele Corry, Editor-in-Chief at .

STYLE

CRST Global follows the American Medical Association Manual of Style, 11th Edition. All submissions should adhere to this style and include the following elements:

  • Headline;
  • Byline;
  • Subheads;
  • Figure captions (see below);
  • Figure references in text; and
  • Author information (see below).

LENGTH

Unless otherwise agreed upon by the Editor-in-Chief, articles should be approximately 800–1,500 words in length.

AUTHOR INFORMATION

Author information must include:

  • Full name(s);
  • Academic degree(s);
  • Affiliation(s);
  • Contact information (email preferred); and
  • A high-resolution photo of the author(s) for inclusion in the author information section.

FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE

With each submission, CRST Global requires that authors list financial relationships (including but not limited to employment, contract work, stock ownership, honoraria, paid testimony) or other conflicts of interest that would jeopardize the credibility of works published in CRST Global.

FIGURES/ARTWORK

High-quality artwork and figures enhance the educational value of submissions. Please follow these guidelines when submitting:

  • File Formats: Acceptable formats include JPEG, TIFF, or EPS. Ensure images are at least 300 dpi with a minimum width of 4 inches to maintain print quality.
  • Captions: Provide concise, descriptive captions for all figures, clearly identifying any key elements or features.
  • Placement in Text: Reference all figures within the manuscript text where they should appear.
  • Permissions: Authors are responsible for securing permissions for any previously published material, including figures, tables, or images, prior to submission. Proof of permission must be included with the manuscript.

REFERENCES

Authors are responsible for reference accuracy. References should:

  • Be listed at the end of the manuscript in the order they appear in the text;
  • Follow AMA Manual of Style, 11th Edition formatting; and

Unpublished data (eg, papers submitted but not yet accepted, personal communications) should be cited parenthetically in the text.

DEADLINES

Authors will receive specific deadlines for submission, revisions, and layout approvals from the editorial team.

STATEMENT OF INFORMED CONSENT

CRST Global does not publish patient identifiers, including patient names, initials, or hospital numbers, unless they are essential to the content and accompanied by written informed consent from the patient or their guardian.
